Volume #3 - April 2nd, 2006

Hello and welcome to another edition of the Legacy Brewing newsletter. A lot has happened since our last e-mailing and we want the friends of Legacy Brewing to have the inside scoop on what's going on.

Midnight Wit Release Party
On May 19th, Legacy is hosting a Midnight Wit release party in Reading, PA at Canal St. Pub. You do not want to miss this event. The basis of this event is to unveil the new packaging for our Midnight Wit Ale. The 5$ cover charge gains you admission to the event and includes a raffle ticket to win a free IPod. Musical guests include the “Brew’s Brothers” and a special headliner will be announced shortly. The party starts at 9:00pm and we will are going to do our best to make this the best party that Legacy has ever put on.

Introducing the Legacy Brewing Co. Sales Team
Legacy Brewing now has 2 full-time marketing and sales representatives.  Lee Marren, Sales Manager, has been with us since October 2005.  Lee manages all aspects of our sales and marketing initiatives and also covers the Philadelphia, Bucks, Chester, Montgomery, and Delaware counties.  We are also pleased to announce a new addition to the Legacy Brewing Team.  Mark Hummel has been in the craft-brewing business for over 8 years and will be representing the Berks, Lehigh, Lancaster, Dauphin, and York county areas.  We are proud to have Mark join the team.

Launch of Online Storefront
Here is bit of exciting news, Legacy Brewing will be launching an official online store that will feature hats, shirts, pint glasses, Hedonism posters, and more! Click here to be notified when the storefront is official opened.

Legacy Available in New Areas
We are proud to announce that Legacy beer will now be available in State College and Pittsburgh! In addition, Legacy is in negotiation to sell our beer in Maryland, New Jersey, and New York City. When we open in New York City, we are having a celebration party at Mug’s Alehouse and everyone is invited!

Brew’s Brothers “Hedonism Blues” Free Download
Have you heard of the Brew’s Brothers? The “suds” inspired band is rocking the Reading, PA scene with their latest hit, “Hedonism Blues”. For a limited time, you can download a free MP3 version of the song directly from our website. Click here to download the track to your computer.

Bixler’s Lodge Beer Dinner Sells Out in Record Time
We wanted to let all our friends know about the Bixler’s Beer Dinner but we can’t! Every seat has been sold and dozens of people have their name on the waiting list for cancellations. Bixler’s Lodge has been a supporter of Legacy Brewing since our inception. The chef at Bixlers Lodge along with Head Brewer, Scott Baver, has created dishes that are absolutely mouth watering. The Beer Dinners have become so popular that tickets sell out in a matter of days. No worries, more Beer Dinners will be held to appease the appetites of the friends of Legacy Brewing.

Frog Holler Show a Success
We would like to thank Frog Holler for putting on a fantastic show at Indre Studios in Philadelphia. Everyone had a great time and the music was phenomenal. These guys rock and know how to put on a great show. Check out their website at www.frogholler.com.

Recap of Hedonism Ale Success
By now most everyone has heard about the press regarding the Hedonism Ale packaging. We even got e-mails from people in China!!!  If you haven’t, you can view the news clip on our media page by clicking here. While the initial hoopla has died down, Hedonism Ale has found a niche and sales continue to be strong among those looking for an aggressively hop red ale.
