Volume #5 - April 3rd, 2007

Since our last newsletter was published, there has been a lot of exciting activity at Legacy Brewing Company! We have recently expanded into several new states and added a few new products to our lineup. We are also adding tours of our brewery to our schedule. More on that below.

With all this growth, Legacy is excited to announce that we are looking at a several properties in the Greater Reading area to build or develop a new brewery and a beer garden. We will keep everyone posted on this upcoming adventure.

New Territories Added...
Legacy has expanded into six new counties in Pennsylvania which includes Union, Snyder, Montour, North Umberland, Columbia, Carbon and Lower Luzerne they will be handled through a new wholesaler, Quality Beverage.

Earlier this year we began shipping to Manhattan and then New York State. In March we began shipping product to Virginia, New Jersey, and Washington DC. By this summer, we will be expanding into Delaware and Maryland.

Hoptimus Prime, our Double IPA and the house beer at all Union Jack bars, will be expanding to State College and Northern NY. Currently Hoptimus is available in draft only but plans are in the works for packaging it in 12 ounce bottles.

New Products...
Legacy has been having great success with our Fantasy Ale; a Belgian style Strong Ale brewed with a load of fresh Oregon raspberries. Fantasy Ale has a flavor that arouses the taste buds the first sip. We will be brewing Fantasy twice a year and packaging it in sixtals for taverns and the home trade. Keep on eye open this summer and also around the Christmas holidays for this delicious ale.

An Imperial Pilsner will be coming out in September ’07 just in time for Oktoberfest. The Imperial pilsner will be draft only so get out there and look for your favorite watering hole with this on tap.

Also coming soon will be a variety pack for all of you who like variety in your lives. The case will include Hedonism Ale, Midnight Wit, Hoptimus Prime Ale and of course Euphoria. The plans are falling into place to have the variety cases out around mid-summer.

Get Ready for Summer...
It’s that time of year again to start ramping up for those summer picnics and golfing adventure or just leisure time with your friends. Midnight Wit is in full production so make sure you get out there and get your mystical cases or kegs for your parties. If you are looking to hang out at a good pub for good food there will be many more taverns that will be carrying Midnight Wit to quench those thirst buds after a long day of work or working in the yard!

Saturday Brewery and Tasting Tours...
Starting this summer, we will be offering tours and tastings at our brewery Saturdays between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Please check our website for more information www.legacybrewing.com.
